March 1, 2025 Airglow and Colorful Twilight Milky Way

Early morning report. There had been some reports of auroras in Colorado earlier in the night around midnight, but I was blissfully asleep, not waking up until 2 am or so. At first there was noticeable airglow to the south. A noticeable glow seen as neon lime green in the camera. This seemed to slowly fade as the night wore on and the Milky Way began to rise.

Then as dawn approached, I pointed the camera at the rising Milky Way. To my surprise, there was a noticeable pink color in the viewfinder. I don’t think this is aurora but rather twilight color from the approaching sunrise. But I have never seen the twilight with this aurora-like shade of pink.
